Pleistocene Dream is a lithograph informed by my residency in the Black Rock Desert with Friends of Black Rock–High Rock in partnership with the BLM. The work reflects the desert and playa as landscapes in constant change, yet experienced as timeless at a human scale. Time compresses, expands, and overlaps as the Earth’s orbit marks days, years, centuries, and—eventually—epochs.
